Personal Injury Representation
With over 30 years of experience, D’Arrigo &
Cote has pursued recoveries for individuals
injured in a wide-variety of cases. We work on a
contingency basis - our clients pay nothing
unless they are compensated. Our only goal is to
help those who have been injured. If anyone in
your family has suffered an injury, disease or
death from the negligence of any person or
company, whether you have had an automobile
accident, suffered from a medical mistake, been
injured by a defective product, been bitten by a
dog, or slipped, tripped or fallen, we can help.
Again, we do not get paid until we win your
case.
If you have been in a car wreck, those who are
injured often reach settlements with the
responsible party. These settlements provide
compensation for medical expenses, pain, and
suffering, as well as other damages. Car
repairs, medical expenses, lost income, physical
and psychological pain are part of the damages
you may be entitled to from the person at fault
for causing your auto accident. Insurance
adjustors and juries typically use standard
formulas to come up with an amount for accident
settlements.
In New York State, you and all parties involved
in a motor vehicle accident are entitled to
no-fault benefits. These benefits will pay for
your medical treatment, transportation to and
from doctor’s appointments, housekeeping or
other domestic help, prescription drugs and a
portion of your lost earnings. However, a
no-fault application must be filled out and
mailed to your insurance company within 30 days
from the date of the accident in order to
receive benefits.
Our firm can help you decide if you are eligible
for additional compensation. If you or someone
you love has been injured caused by someone
else's carelessness, you should seek legal
advice immediately - before you discuss the
matter with an insurance adjuster and before
signing any documents!
